Invited Lecture on “Introduction to Thallophytes” – 07.09.2026 The Department of Botany, Dr. Lakireddy Hanimi Reddy Government Degree College, Mylavaram, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh, organized an Invited Lecture on “Introduction to Thallophytes” on 07.09.2026 for B.Sc. Botany students. The lecture was delivered by Dr. D. Jyothi, Lecturer in Botany, Government Degree College, Tiruvuru, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh, as the invited resource person. Dr. D. Jyothi explained the general characteristics, classification, diversity, structure, reproduction and ecological importance of Thallophytes in an informative and engaging manner. The lecture helped students gain a deeper understanding of the fundamental concepts of lower plant groups and their significance in plant diversity.
