A.C.T Academy Teacher’s Day Award – 2026 | Innovative Teaching Award Dr. Ramudu Jujjuvarapu, Assistant Professor of Botany, Dr. Lakireddy Hanimi Reddy Government Degree College, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh, was honoured with the “Innovative Teaching Award – 2026” by A.C.T Academy, Kerala & Tamil Nadu, on the occasion of Teacher’s Day 2026. The award recognizes his exceptional dedication, passion and commitment to teaching, research and academic excellence. It acknowledges his innovative approaches to undergraduate education, integration of technology and digital learning resources, promotion of experiential and research-oriented learning, and sustained contributions to the field of Botany and biological sciences. The award also recognizes his outstanding contributions to research and scholarship in education and science, particularly his efforts to promote scientific temper, biodiversity awareness, interdisciplinary research and student engagement in higher education.

Dr. J. Ramudu, Lecturer in Botany, was selected for the prestigious NESA Eminent Scientist Award 2025 in recognition of his outstanding research contributions in the field of Plant Sciences.The award is conferred by the National Environmental Science Academy (NESA), an esteemed scientific body headquartered in New Delhi. It acknowledges years of dedicated research work, publication in high-impact journals, and technological development within environmental and life sciences.

The "Best Individual Biodiversity Conservator Award - 2026" by the Andhra Pradesh State Biodiversity Board was actually awarded to J. Ramudu, a Botany lecturer at Dr. Lakkireddy Hanimireddy Government Degree College, Mylavaram.He was recognized for his outstanding grassroots contributions to biodiversity awareness, ecological seminars, and his research on plant species in the Eastern Ghats. The award was presented by A.P. State Biodiversity Board Chairman N. Vijay Kumar during the International Day for Biological Diversity celebrations on May 22, 2026, at Acharya Nagarjuna University.

Prestigious national award conferred by INSA for outstanding contributions to frontier areas of botanical research, specifically for pioneering work on orchid biodiversity and molecular characterisation from the Eastern Ghats of India.

Awarded in recognition of significant contributions to plant science research as a young faculty member, honouring excellence in biodiversity studies and orchid research during the early phase of academic career.
